Hosepipe bans notwithstanding, some serious rainfall as put paid to today's Twenty20 matches at Larkhill. A great disappointment, especially as last week's fixture - had AAC not conceded - would have been rained off, too. We now await the Surridge Inter Corps Twenty20 festival without having a single match under our belts. Not an ideal situation, but one hopes that there will be some improvement in the weather before then.

Meanwhile, there's another opportunity for training, today, at Aldershot gym.

The Royal Signals Corps CC joins us, tomorrow, as both teams prepare for next week's Surridge Sports Inter Corps Twenty20 competition. Weather aside, the course of play is for two Twenty20 games to be played over the day. This is a great opportunity for new players as well as existing squad members.

AAC CC has withdrawn from the POWER Cup Inter-Corps cricket fixture on Wednesday, 18 April and has, consequently, forfeited the game and points. RACC has rescheduled training, at Larkhill, to Wednesday and cancelled the session previously arranged for Tuesday afternoon.

It's a pity that AAC won't be visiting us; we'll happily accept the points but thrashing them would certainly have been our preference. So it's an 11:00 start for training on Wednesday morning ... see you all there.
